FAQs
Who can join The Four Notes Club?
Anyone can join The Four Notes Club! Wether you’re a recent graduate, were a band member long ago, are a family member or friend, or just a supporter of Tiger Band, we’d love to have you be a part of our club.
Where does my money go when I donate?
Every organization has a “cost of doing business” and we are no different. Member dues go to our operational account to cover expenses associated with operating a 501(c)(3). During the course of the year, the Executive Board will award scholarships and make contributions to the Tiger Band Scholarship Fund and Band Development Fund at the LSU Foundation.
Who runs the organization?
The Four Notes Club is run by an Executive Board and a Board of Directors. Everyone on “staff” are volunteers and, in fact, are dues paying members.
What do I get if I join?
In addition to the gratification of knowing that you’re supporting the LSU Tiger Marching Band, membership entitles you to attend social and networking events hosted by The Four Notes Club. Other membership perks can be found on the Member Benefits page of this website.
How can I donate?
You can make a contribution to the Tiger Band Scholarship Fund by clicking the Donate button on the navigation bar of this site.
The LSU Foundation requests that any donation over $5,000 be made in consultation with our Foundation Representative. If you’d like to make a sizable contribution to the band, please contact us directly at fournotes@lsu.edu and a member of our Executive Board will reach out to assist.
