Alumni Weekend FAQs

To be allowed on the field at halftime, Alumni Band members MUST wear their Alumni Band Shirt provided by the Four Notes Club at registration. In the event of cold weather, a white long sleeve may be worn underneath the Alumni Band shirt.

Performers will be allowed to wear jackets and other warm gear in the stands, but not during the halftime performance.

Raincoats are also highly encouraged in the event of rain.

Instrumentalists should wear khakis (shorts or pants - weather dependant), mostly white tennis shoes, and the Alumni Band hat (winds and percussion only). Hats have not changed, so members can reuse a hat from prior years.

Colorguard, Golden Girls, and Tigerettes should wear black skirts, pants, or leggings. Hats are not required for these groups.

Feel free to wear a different change of clothes during the Alumni Band rehearsal.

Yes, there are two discount options available.

For TFNC members - you will receive a discount code to use at checkout that will apply to performing member packages.

For recent grads - The Four Notes Club will cover your reunion for the first year after graduation. Those interested in taking advantage of this option should email fournotes@lsu.edu for more information.

Yes! There is limited availability of marching instruments (mellophones, baritones, sousaphones, and percussion) through the Band Department at LSU. All other instrument rentals are handled through a partnership with Music and Arts.

Packages are inclusive of all events described and there are no "a la carte" options available. Event proceeds will be used to fund scholarships and other philanthropic activities for the benefit of future Tiger Band members. Your support in this new endeavor for students is greatly appreciated!

Due to guidelines and deadlines, and to ensure that we are in full compliance with LSU’s liability and security protocols, registrations for Alumni Band Weekend are non-transferrable.

At registration, you will have to present identification to receive your event packet. Anyone who attempts to transfer their registration will forego any fees they paid for this year’s event, will not be allowed to participate in this year’s event, and will not be allowed to participate next year. Additionally, anyone who attempts to use someone else’s registration for this year’s event will be banned from participating in club-hosted events for the entirety of that year.

The Friday evening stands rehearsal for the Gold Package will be at the Tiger Band Hall on Aster Street. The Saturday rehearsal will very likely be at the Tiger Band Hall as well, due to Football's use of the Indoor Football Facility (IFF); however, we will know more as we get closer to the event.

All participants are responsible for their own transportation around campus for Alumni Reunion weekend.

Some of these logistics are still being worked out with the Band Department and Athletics, so information is subject to change.

For Gold Package alumni playing in the stands with Tiger Band, you will more than likely carry your instrument to the stadium as we will parade there. Cases for those instruments, as well as the instruments for those performing only at halftime, will be collected after the Saturday rehearsal for transport to Tiger Stadium. More information will be forthcoming.

For White and Purple Package alumni who are not playing in the stands, prior to halftime, you will need to collect your instrument for the performance. After halftime, borrowed and large instruments will need to be returned to the truck. Smaller instruments can be carried with members as they return to their seats or depart. At the conclusion of the game, the truck will be at the Old Band Hall/Greek Amphitheater for instrument collection.

In the event that Reunion Weekend is cancelled, all attendees will receive a refund for their order.

Refunds and modifications are available for the event up until the registration deadline. After the deadline passes, no refunds can be given due to vendor and LSU Athletics deadlines.
